"WOW Card" PROGRAMME


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This campaign is being promoted by HILODI - HISTORIC LODGES & DISCOVERIES S.A., NIF 513.165.096, with headquarters at Rua do Choupelo n.º 250, Vila Nova de Gaia, owner and operator of WOW (World of Wine) – The cultural District.


1. Object and Scope:

The main aim of the "WOW Card" programme is to build loyalty among customers who regularly visit the Quarteirão Cultural, offering exclusive advantages and unique benefits. The programme also aims to encourage members' continued involvement in WOW's museum spaces and their active participation in the activities and events they organise. WOW considers its members to be fundamental to the success of Cultural District, and this programme aims to recognise this important contribution. By offering exclusive benefits to its members, WOW hopes to keep its current member base satisfied and encourage others to become members in the future.


2. Benefits:

The benefits of joining the "WOW CARD" Programme are as follows:

a) Free entry to WOW's permanent exhibition museums, namely: The Bridge Collection, The Wine Experience, Planet Cork, The Chocolate Story, Porto Region Across the Ages and Pink Palace;

b) 10% discount on the purchase of tickets for companions of the "WOW Card"* holder;

c) Guided tours of each permanent exhibition museum, subject to availability and provided they have been previously booked and confirmed;

d) Priority access at the entrances to the permanent exhibition museums and at the ticket offices to obtain your ticket (avoid queues);

e) 10% discount in museum shops and Oenophilia*;

f) 10% discount at WOW catering outlets, namely: PIP; Golden Catch; 1828; Mira Mira by Ricardo Costa; Maze; VP; Suspiro; T&C; Angel's Share; Root&Vine; Lemon Plaza and Vinte Vinte Café*;

g) 10% discount on "Practical Courses" and "More than a Tasting" workshops at The Wine School*;

h) 10% discount on The Chocolate Story* workshops;

i) Exclusive conditions for members, namely access to temporary exhibitions, conferences, workshops and festivals under the conditions defined for each event;

j) Access to exclusive information for programme members;

k) Others that may be included in these regulations in the future.*

*Not combinable with other campaigns or discounts in force.


3. Modalities and Pricing:

The "WOW CARD" programme has 4 types of membership:

a)"WOW Individual" membership - 1 holder;

b)"WOW Family" membership - 4 holders: Maximum 2 adults; children (up to and including the age of 12); additional children have the cost set out in Annex I;

c)"WOW Youth" membership - 1 holder up to and including the age of 25;

d)"WOW Senior" membership - 1 holder (over 65).

4. Card

The programme entails the issue of a physical, one-name card, which is personal and non-transferable and may only be used by the cardholder(s). The "Somos WOW" membership scheme only provides for the issue of one card.


5. Membership

Membership of the programme is done using the appropriate form, available at the WOW box office, and online via the WOW website. Cards purchased online can be collected at the WOW box office or sent to the member's address. Cards purchased as gifts for third parties will only be valid once they have been activated by the holder at the WOW box office.Membership of this programme presupposes the member's full agreement with the terms and conditions set out in these regulations, including the section on the Protection of Personal Data.


6. Card Usage

The cards must be presented at the ticket offices for the discount or benefit to be applied, together with a valid ID document.To access the museums, the member must present the "WOW CARD" card at the WOW ticket offices, together with a valid ID document. A free ticket will be issued, valid under the access conditions in force and within WOW's opening hours (https://wow.pt/terms-conditions/). 

In the case of the "Somos WOW" Card, all members must present a valid ID document.


7. Ticket

Each card member can collect 1 ticket per day for each museum. 

Each ticket for access to WOW museums is valid for the day it is issued.

9. Requests to book guided tours of the museums should be made to the following address: cartaowow@wow.pt.


10. Validity of the “WOW Card”

The benefits of the WOW Card Programme are valid for 12 months from the date the card is activated.


11. Annual renewal of the WOW Card

Cards can be renewed annually, subject to the conditions in force at the time of renewal. Renewal presupposes the maintenance of the existing card.


12. 2nd copy of WOW Card

Em caso de danos ou ilegibilidade do cartão, pode ser impedida a sua utilização, pelo que deve ser solicitada previamente a emissão de novo cartão para cartaowow@wow.pt, aplicando-se as taxas de emissão de novo cartão.Em caso de perda, furto ou roubo do cartão, o titular deverá informar imediatamente o WOW para que o cartão seja bloqueado e seja emitida uma segunda via, aplicando-se as taxas de emissão de novo cartão.


13. WOW Card cancellation

O WOW reserva-se o direito de cancelar o cartão “Cartão WOW” e, consequentemente, o acesso às condições previstas no presente Regulamento, a qualquer momento, por violação por parte do Cliente dos termos e condições aqui previstos.


14. Change of conditions

O WOW reserva-se o direito de modificar os termos e condições do presente programa, incluindo os benefícios oferecidos. As alterações aplicar-se-ão apenas a cartões adquiridos após a revisão dos termos e condições.


15. Proteção de Dados Pessoais

Para compreender e tomar conhecimento da forma como as informações que nos disponibiliza serão tratadas pela HILODI – HISTORIC LODGES & DISCOVERIES S.A. deverá ler previamente as informações constantes do Formulário de Adesão ao cartão WOW e a nossa Política de Privacidade, nos endereços infra indicados:

16. Comunications

Ao abrigo do Programa, é expectável que sejam enviadas, entre outras, as seguintes comunicações:

a) Envio de cartão para a morada do membro, quando solicitado pelo mesmo;

b) Envio de e-mail de boas-vindas ao Programa “Cartão WOW”;

c) Envio de e-mail de confirmação da ativação do cartão e informação da respetiva validade do mesmo;

d) Envio de e-mail/sms relativos à renovação da avença anual;

e) Envio de fatura para o e-mail do membro, ou 1º titular do Cartão, no caso de se tratar de um “Cartão Família”, após aquisição ou renovação da avença anual, quando solicitado pelo mesmo;

f) Envio de e-mail/sms de felicitação no dia de aniversário de cada um dos membros (pendente de confirmação);

g)Envio de e-mail/sms de aviso de inatividade do cartão, tendo em vista a melhoria da experiência no usufruto do programa;

h)Envio de Newsletter exclusiva para o e-mail do membro, ou do 1º titular do Cartão, no caso de se tratar de um “Cartão Família”, tendo em vista o envio de informação relativa às condições de acesso a atividades que integram o Programa, nomeadamente exposições temporárias, conferências, workshops e festivais;

i)Envio de emails/sms sobre os eventos culturais a decorrer no WOW;

j)Envio de e-mail a convidar para a realização de inquéritos de satisfação anónimos, tendo em vista a melhoria contínua do serviço.


17. Publicising Regulations

Após a adesão ao presente Programa, será remetida uma cópia do presente regulamento para o email do Participante.

O regulamento que a cada momento se encontrar em vigor será divulgado na página https://cartaowow.wow.pt/ e no Balcão de Atendimento.
